Hi, I’m Maggie Pinto, and welcome to PintoCreate.com!
I’m a stay-at-home mom, lifelong crafter, and the person who can never quite walk past a basket of colorful yarn without imagining what it could become. I’ve always loved making things with my hands—crochet, handmade decorations, simple DIY projects, upcycling, and anything that gives an ordinary object a little more personality.
PintoCreate started as a place to share the projects I was making at home. Over time, it became much more than that. It’s a space for creativity, inspiration, and the simple joy of making something yourself.
I believe you don’t need expensive supplies, a perfect craft room, or years of experience to be creative. Sometimes all you need is a good idea, a little patience, and the willingness to make a few mistakes along the way. In fact, some of my favorite projects started with a completely different plan!
Here you’ll find easy DIY projects, crochet ideas, handmade home décor, creative upcycling, craft tips, and plenty of inspiration for making your home feel a little more like you.
When I’m not crafting, you’ll probably find me with a cup of coffee, browsing a local market, tending to my plants, flipping through an old craft book, or collecting supplies for a project I’m absolutely going to start someday.
So grab your favorite mug, get comfortable, and have a look around.
Thanks for stopping by PintoCreate. Let’s make something wonderful together!
— Maggie
Our editorial approach
PintoCreate focuses on practical craft guides: materials, construction steps, common mistakes and ways to choose a project that fits your experience. Free tutorials and paid digital collections are clearly identified so you can decide what is useful to you.
Use the instructions alongside the images
Project images and illustrations help explain an idea or show a possible result. Some artwork is digitally generated and should not be used to judge exact stitch counts, measurements or finished fit. Follow the written instructions, check the individual pattern and make a small sample when precision matters.
Sources, updates and corrections
References to standards or outside guidance are linked in the relevant article. Publication and update dates appear on guides. If you spot an unclear step, broken link or incorrect measurement, send us the article address and the detail that needs attention. Corrections should improve the instructions, rather than simply change the date.
Shop information
Collection pages explain digital delivery and link to our FAQ, refund policy and terms. Check the licence accompanying a pattern before sharing files or selling finished work.
Craft safely
Use tools and materials according to their manufacturer’s instructions. Supervise children with needles, scissors, cords, adhesives and small parts. A decorative project is not automatically suitable as a toy, load-bearing item or item for an infant.
